Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use RankUp. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your password secure, and for everything posted from it. Give us accurate information and one account per person — competitive integrity is the whole point.

RankUp is a competitive discipline game: you log sessions, upload proof, earn XP, and climb ranks against other players. XP values, rank thresholds, decay rules, streaks, duels, and other game mechanics are part of the service and may change as we balance and improve the game. Ranks and XP have no monetary value and cannot be sold or transferred.

You own what you post: proof photos, messages, comments, and session notes. By posting, you grant us a license to host, display, and share that content within RankUp as the game requires (for example, showing your proof to your squad). Do not post content you do not have the right to share.

• No fake proof, falsified sessions, or other cheating. Friends can Call BS for a reason.
• No harassment, hate, threats, or sexually explicit content.
• No impersonation, spam, scraping, or attempts to break or overload the service.
• No using RankUp for anything unlawful.

We may remove content, reset ill-gotten XP, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

• Price and billing: RankUp Pro is $7 per month, billed through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your card details.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel.
• Cancelling: cancel anytime from the billing portal (Upgrade page → Manage billing). You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for; we do not offer refunds for partial periods, except where the law requires.
• What happens after: if Pro lapses, Pro-only features simply deactivate (streak shields, full AI coach intel, custom duel terms, the weekly recap email, and the PRO badge). Your XP, rank, squads, and history are never affected.
• Price changes: if we change the price, we will notify you in advance and the new price applies from your next renewal.

You can stop using RankUp or request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the service or other players. Paid periods already used are not refunded on termination for violations.

RankUp is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it fast and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and game data (XP, ranks, streaks) may occasionally be adjusted to fix bugs or abuse. RankUp is a motivation game, not medical, fitness, or professional advice. Train within your limits.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RankUp is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $25 if you have paid nothing.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which RankUp is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these terms as RankUp evolves. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, provide notice in the app. Continuing to use RankUp after changes take effect means you accept them.
